What is Code Yellow?

Code Yellow allows hospital personnel to play through an intense Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) from the top down, including the roles of doctors, nurses, security, triage, and upper management personnel. Players work in a multi-player environment to treat patients beginning with triage and working them through the entire hospital.

What Are the Current Applications of Code Yellow?

BreakAway partnered with TATRC to create a tool that would provide a more economical, sustainable, and broader reaching computer program to address Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives hazard Management (CBRNE GAME, now called “Code Yellow”). It is a web-based, multi-player exercise tool that incorporates the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) command structure; patient flow through triage, decontamination and treatment areas activated during a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI).
